Jesus invited 12 men to follow. Living with Jesus is anything but predictable and boring. It's an exciting ride that never disappoints!

Jesus had several interactions with the disciples that illustrate the challenge of living in community with people you don't know. From the time the disciples wanted to send the children away, to the time when they argued about who would sit next to him in heaven, to the last meal where one of them was identified as a betrayer with selfish motives. Repeatedly, Jesus met each relational challenge with patience.

The Satisfaction Trilogy

Satisfaction is elusive for many people today, including the Rolling Stones. At Southland we’re convinced the key to experiencing a satisfied life is living with balance and we use a triangle to illustrate what a balanced life looks like. With so many time consuming options available to us, living with Jesus, in community, and on mission is the best way to garner the spiritual satisfaction that so many people want but don’t have.
