3Devotion
As we begin our study of the last three chapters of Matthew, we will begin to see a picture of Jesus' true identity unfold that is the clearest anywhere. This week, as we study the story of Mary anointing Jesus with oil in Matthew 26, we see someone who is caught in an avalanche of grace and gratitude - a pleasing aroma to God. Matthew 26:6-13
3Dinner
This week we will look at one of the most iconic images from the new testament: the last supper. As we study Jesus’ words and actions at this passover meal, we will gain a better understanding of communion, its symbolism and its importance. Matthew 26:14-56
3Denial
Like the “check engine” light on a car’s dashboard, we often try to ignore or cover up the problems we’re facing and the mistakes we’ve made hoping they’ll just go away. This week, we will look at three types of denial from Matthew 26, see how we can identify them in our own lives and how we can move from denial to repentance. Matthew 26:57-27:31
3Death
Although Jesus asks for there to be another way, He willingly submitted to His Father's plans as He prayed in the garden. As we reflect on the cross this week and the price Jesus paid for us, we are reminded that God's plans – plans to give us a hope and a future – are greater than our own. Matthew 27:32-66
3Days
The resurrection story is not something that is confined to the pages of a book; it is something that happens still today. This week, as we conclude Jesus in 3D, we see how the regrets of our past can be buried with Jesus through baptism so we can have hope to be united with Him in His resurrection. So grab a pair of 3D glasses and get ready to see Jesus in a way you never have before. Matthew 28:1-10
