A succulent, cactus and bonsai tree.
When did you first come to Southland?
My sophomore year of college, so way back in 2009
What's one thing people don't know about you?
Growing up, I played in the boys soccer league. I was a little too intense for the girls leagues.
What was your childhood ambition?
To be the manager of a professional basketball team. I had BIG dreams!
What's something God's been teaching you lately you didn't know before?
He’s been teaching me about the power of prayer! To not try to fix everything, but to lean into Him, trust and just pray about everything!

Programming Volunteer Coordinator
One of your proudest moments?
I am terrified of public speaking...but I once got to speak to a large group of college students about Discipleship and calling! It was awesome!
What is your definition of a retreat?
Somewhere with a hot cup of coffee, a fuzzy blanket, worship music and my Bible!
What brought you to Southland?
My best friend
What kept you here?
The teaching and worship! Each week I felt so impacted by what I was hearing, that I just wanted to keep coming back!
Your most memorable experience?
Hiking the Napali Coast in Kauai, HI.
What inspires you?
People who don’t live in fear but live boldly!
Your favorite snack?
Potato Chips (The Kettle Brand, SO good)
If you could vacation anywhere...where would you go?

Overcoming fear
