Thousands of songs in practically every genre. Lots of Christmas and every Justin Timberlake album.
Your first job?
A place called “The Salad Bar” in a Nashville mall food court - needless to say, it went bankrupt. Womp-Womp.
Your greatest indulgence?
What's your favorite T.V. series?
Top 5: Downton Abbey, Mad Men, Parenthood, The Office, and House of Cards. Sorry...I watch a lot of TV.
Favorite season, and why?
Fall because...Football!!! Enough said.
What's one book that has impacted you?
Fervent by Priscilla Shirer and The Power of a Praying Wife/Woman both by Stormie Omartian
Most recent purchase?
Shoes. DUH. Colorful Chuck Taylors, to be exact.
When did you first come to Southland?
2005 was my very first visit.
What's one thing people don't know about you?
I am a master jigsaw puzzler.
What was your childhood ambition?
To be a makeup artist and master hair stylist.
What's something God's been teaching you lately you didn't know before?
That prayer is not haphazard; instead must be strategic. Also, that we have spent far too long asking God FOR things in prayer; sometimes you have to pray AGAINST things, as well. ;-)
Your role at SCC?
Life Groups and Guest Experience Leader for the awesome Georgetown Campus. I get to help people dive into life with each other and service with the church!

One of your proudest moments?
Not crying at my wedding even though I was so insanely happy to marry my best friend. It’s important to note - whether in joy or sadness, I cry without notice - so this was a HUGE feat!
What is your definition of a retreat?
The sound of the ocean, sun on my skin, and a book in my hand.
What brought you to Southland?
The opportunity to sit quietly under sound teaching without fancy fluff
What kept you here?
Southland has been a healing place for me - a place to be poured into and grow into the person I am becoming each day without stagnation and with a ‘wonder’ of “What’s next, Lord?”
Your most memorable experience?
Facing my fear of the ocean: standing on a huge rock jutting out of the ocean in Aruba - overcome by how vast God’s creation was! Tears...again!
What inspires you?
Your favorite snack?
Ice cream or Gelato
If you could vacation anywhere...where would you go?
What's your biggest challenge?
Being easier on myself...extending a little more grace where I need it.

Me and My hubby of 18 years
