We're Unleashing a Revolution of Love in Central Kentucky

Why be an elder at Southland?
It is an honor to serve the church that has been instrumental in my growth as a Christian.
When and how did you first come to Southland?
I saw the Southland Hour television broadcast in the early 90's and decided to attend.
What’s your daily routine like of connecting with God?
Ideal for me is early morning. With young kids, it is the best quiet time you can get during the day. I tend to spend time in the Bible working on Bible study and time alone in prayer. I will typically use my drive time in the morning praying and will pray at different times during the day.
What’s your favorite area to serve in at Southland?

What’s your life group or Biblical community like?
We've been in the same life group for 9 years. We are a group of families doing life together praying for each other and supporting each other through the difficult times, encouraging each other in our faith, and laughing a lot (especially during our white elephant Christmas gift exchange).
