What’s on your ipod right now?
Coldplay, Avett Brothers and, of course, Justin Bieber’s Purpose album.
Your first job?
Folding towels at LAC for a free gym membership.
What’s your favorite T.V. series?
The Office, Parks & Rec, Seinfeld, Scrubs, New Girl-Pretty much any half hour comedy.
Favorite season, and why?
Beach Season! It’s the best time for sand volleyball.
What’s one book that has impacted you?
“A Million Miles in a Thousand Years”
When did you first come to Southland?
When I was 11 or 12 playing in the volleyball leagues with my family.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I guess you could call me a rule breaker…but only when it comes to consuming raw cookie dough. Besides that I love rules. I guess you could call me a rule follower who loves eating cookie dough.
What was your childhood ambition?
A progression from bull rider to race car driver to wide receiver for the Packers to shooting guard for the Lakers to realizing I wasn’t athletic enough for my dreams.
What’s something God’s been teaching you lately you didn’t know before?
That He thinks highly of me and wants me to take more risks.
Your role at SCC?
To help students be with God, in community and on mission.
One of your proudest moments?
Being ordained here at Southland.
What brought you to Southland?
Some friends in High School.
What kept you here?
A community that showed me God’s love and grace.
Your most memorable experience?
Meeting, falling for and proposing to my fiance, Hannah.
What inspires you?
Good stories.
Your favorite snack?
Mini donuts-Chocolate and Powdered.
Who lives in your house?
My roommate Trevin and myself, but we are both getting married this Summer and will be upgrading our respective roommate situations.
