Some red shirts to represent Southland at CIY Mix
When did you first come to Southland?
We moved to Lexington in August 2012 and Southland has been our home since our second week here.
What's one thing people don't know about you?
That I have an official Civil Engineer in Training license.
What was your childhood ambition?
I wanted to be a veterinarian.
What's something God's been teaching you lately you didn't know before?
He has constantly reminded me of his love, his provision and his presence in the midst of the storms of life.

One of your proudest moments?
Shooting a record -14 on my campus ministry’s Frisbee Golf course in college.
What is your definition of a retreat?
Staying in a secluded log cabin in the mountains with close friends and family.
What brought you to Southland?
We moved to Lexington so I could attend Asbury Seminary.
What kept you here?
From the first time we visited, we knew this was where God called us to attend and serve.
Your most memorable experience?
The birth of my son Colin and daughter Kenzie
What inspires you?
Those moments where students have a spiritual breaktrough
Your favorite snack?
Pretzels and a Sun Drop
If you could vacation anywhere...where would you go?
Hawaii - Almost like going to another country but where I don’t have to learn another language or try foreign foods.
What's your biggest challenge?
Realizing when I am too busy and during those times - saying no when people ask for my help.
Who lives in your house?
My wife of 7 ½ years Ashley, our 4 yr old son Colin, our 1 yr old daughter Kenzie and our dogs Carter and Zane
