What famous person do people tell you that you look like?
Old-school Taylor Swift, mostly because of my hair.
What's on your ipod right now?
Always the Head and the Heart, or Will Reagan, but currently feeling everything from the La La Land soundtrack to Glass Animals.
Your first job?
I’ve been a barista at four different coffee shops! That was my first real job that I stuck with.
Your greatest indulgence?
Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip. And trashy-pop-music dance parties.
What's your favorite T.V. series?
Friends, no contest.
Favorite season, and why?
Winter, because I love sweaters and how snow makes everything so magical.
What's one book that has impacted you?
I could make a list! The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning, Garden City by John Mark Comer, Love Does by Bob Goff.
Most recent purchase?
Coffee (always).
When did you first come to Southland?
In fall of 2012, when I started school at Asbury University.
What's one thing people don't know about you?
I minored in French in college (bonjour!).
What was your childhood ambition?
I wanted to be an author.
What's something God's been teaching you lately you didn't know before?
When we learn to truly view Him as a loving Father, we can see ourselves and all of His children through a lens of delight. It means we can truly rest in him, and it’s changing the way I live.

One of your proudest moments?
I got to be a contributing editor for a publication called Haven (Volume 2), and it was my first time getting to collaborate with creatives and being apart of a project I was truly passionate about.
What is your definition of a retreat?
A cabin, a different city… truly any new space or amount of distance accompanied by a freedom from technology.
What brought you to Southland?
A friend’s recommendation
What kept you here?
A radically loving and generous community.
What inspires you?
Sunrises, slow songs, and well-written sentences.
Your favorite snack?
Chips and salsa
If you could vacation anywhere...where would you go?
Europe, the mountains, or Disney
What's your biggest challenge?
Perfectionism, a severe sweet tooth, and a lack of navigational ability.
Who lives in your house?
My two room mates and I - one of them is also on staff at Southland! (Hey, Amanda!)
