A Letter From Austria

Posted on Mon, Mar 21, 2011 under Global Missions

If you're not familiar with Haus Edelweiss, check out the post from last week where we shared a little about TCM, the Haus Edelweiss school and the work that TCM does in Austria and surrounding areas.

Here is an update we just received from Myron Williams, the Discipleship Pastor here at Southland, who is currently overseas teaching at Haus Edelweiss outside of Vienna, Austria.

Good morning from Austria! The sun is shining here, though it is cool. My trip was uneventful, though I had some interesting conversations on the ride from Atlanta to Paris. I begin working today here at the Haus on accreditation materials, and next Monday start teaching in Ukraine. I went to an International Christian Church in Vienna yesterday. It indeed is international in attendees, so it was cool worshipping with so many nationalities each committed to the Lord.

Father in Heaven, this trip reminds me you are greater than what we understand. The beauty of the world comes from you. The many people groups come from you, and yesterday in worship to see so many nationalities singing, praying, lifting hands in worship reminded me of your vastness. What a wonder you are. Majestic is your name in all the earth indeed, and among all people you are praised. Holy is your name.
