Volunteer Spotlight: Natalie Settles
Natalie Settles is a teenager that has spent the last year investing in the lives of the next generation in Club Orbit, in Danville. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to serve with Natalie and I am going to miss her so much. She will be a freshman this year at UK, and below she wrote a few words about what her experience as a leader in Club Orbit has meant to her and how God used it to direct her in her vocation.
Before I started Club Orbit I was unsure of my major at first. I thought I wanted to be a Physical Therapist, but once I started to get involved with Club Orbit I changed my mind. God has shown me through Club Orbit that I want to be a Elementary School Teacher. Working with kids is what I love to do, and by being a leader in Club Orbit, I realized what I wanted to do in the long run.
God is so good and I love when He works in the leaders lives as much as He works in the lives of our kids.
